Liam Heyen
Liam is a film and television Producer and graduate of AFTRS and the Queensland College of Arts. Liam worked at Goalpost Pictures between 2014 - 2020 on projects including HOLDING THE MAN (Dir. Neil Armfield), FIGHTING SEASON for Foxtel/Sky, Goalpost/Blumhouse co-productions UPGRADE and THE INVISIBLE MAN, and CLEVERMAN for ABC/Sundance TV on which he was Associate Producer / Digital Producer.
Liam was Co-Producer on the box-office hit TOP END WEDDING, directed by Wayne Blair which premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. He was an Associate Producer of the upcoming Helen Reddy biopic I AM WOMAN, which premiered at TIFF 2019 and is due for wide release in 2020, and the Co-Producer on NEW GOLD MOUNTAIN, an exciting revisionist western mini-series for SBS and All3Media International.
Alongside his long-form work he has produced the award-winning web series LOCATION SCOUTS for Tourism NT, written and directed by the Van Vuuren Bros (BONDI HIPSTERS) and an expansive catalogue of short films. Liam is passionate about telling commercial stories about the queer experience.
Cyna Strachan
Cyna is a Producer and graduate of the AFTRS Producing Program. Since graduating in 2014 Cyna started out freelancing and working between production and post-production for top producers and production companies. Some projects Cyna worked on during this time include Leigh Whannell’s UPGRADE, Goalpost Pictures I AM WOMAN and the ground-breaking TV Show LAMBS OF GOD.
From 2020-2022 Cyna worked in-house at Aquarius Films as a Production Executive and worked across TV programs including THE UNUSUAL SUSPECTS (SBS), BORN TO SPY (ABC KIDS) and was an Associate Producer on both LOVE ME (BINGE) and SAVAGE RIVER (ABC).
As a Producer, Cyna draws on her background and studies in music, art, and design in her approach to producing, and is passionate about female driven stories, and working with female talent behind and in front of the camera.
